They're cheap, simple as that. Also the intended use is standalone, so PCVR is just a bonus and sadly it shows. I gave up using my Q2 on wifi, I don't know how Q3s are doing but unless your wifi situation is absolutely perfect I'd say wired is the way to go

Feeling good in an avatar can make or break confidence, I would look up avatar worlds and visit them privately to find a couple avatars that feel good to wear. Maybe save a few with party tricks to use as ice breakers
