the card is easily busted. three power across two bodies for 2 mana that also accelerates mana production is way too much for standard imo. we will have to wait and see if spell snare being printed is enough to contain it or if cub needs to go on the banlist.

this is also my first RC i haven't day 2'd, so that streak is snapped, but that's fine. we out here vibing and enjoying the grind, which is what it's about. on to the rcq season coming up and the portland RC! really excited for standard!

mulling it over, can't complain too much, just bad beats this weekend. could i have played a different archetype, sure, but i had utmost confidence in my pick and I still do. sometimes magic doesn't go your way. ggs to my opponents!

ok first time against titan all weekend and variance hit..... 1 land in the top 15 after a mull to 5 in g3. that def wasn't it. just gotta win out now for day 2!

in bad matchup hell, happy i escaped with a win last round 😅 hope to see some prowess, titan, or jeskai next round to balance the scales!

game 1 i was relying on WST to draw cards, but opp had a 1 lander so my draw engine was non existent. g2 and g3 we interacted early and resolved a goryo into scoops 😌
