Hermiston lives in the eighteenth century and reads and writes about dead people. Born in England, raised in Scotland, Hermiston is, in fact, a German.
Usually last week of May.

I take students to Neuve Chapelle each year. I'll think of Charles when I am there again in Spring.

Very curious about the German headstones.

Jim looks younger than Alfred in his uniform. To think someone his age could spend such a proportion of their young life in the trenches. Beggars belief.

I looked him up on CWGC. From Dee St. Funny how things run full circle.

Not just that he read it, but he's applying it. Well done you!

I love the sound of the clunk as it hits the back of the net.

When my wife was expecting twins I was chatting to the barman once and he idly asked me if I had kids. I said "No, but I've got two on the way". He said "With the same woman?" The implication was the biggest compliment I have ever been paid.

I'm so sorry I missed it but delighted to see this in print. I can't wait to get my hands on a copy. Congratulations Jérémy!

It's upsetting. Wish him all the best, obviously, but such a shame it's come to this. He should be breaking records at United.

All we need is a mash-up of his celebration and Knowing Me Knowing You With Alan Partridge.

Where's the outlet? I like Mazraoui a lot but he's better as RCB and then bring Amad to wingback. Dalot's limited on the left. I fear this set-up with these personnel is just inviting pressure. I wish we could incorporate Garnacho somehow. I'm worried.

I'd love to. Wish I could. January's already over-subscribed but we should definitely plot something for later in the year.
You're still getting out for the night runs?
