Finishing the switch from Poland to France, I finally finished L’Atalante. It really got me when the guy got his haircut from the dog groomer.

I started a rewatch of Danton. I can ignore Depardieu, there’s interesting faces with Pszoniak and Linda from Poland, the Jahrhundertring director Chereau from France and even Winkler from Germany! The ending and, even more throughout the film, the score are especially eerie.

I think about my job and the things I have to deal with every weekday, but it could be worse. I feel for the different characters in Kanal, “I love Janek” and the ocarina playing artist.
