I don't know how they envisage this actually happening, or if they've considered why these are empty.
We need more social housing, but if these are posh developments so be it: they're often in locations unsuitable for ppl with limited means of transport.

Good to see family estrangement being covered in a balanced way which looks at the nuances.

As someone, happily, estranged from their father I still get people saying "I'll miss him when he's gone", bet you I won't, "you should make the first move", did that.

I am glad to hear that your estrangement has been good for you. Me too. I cut off all my family 16 yrs ago. It was the strongest, best thing I ever did. People who disagree didn't see me & the state I was in when I had contact.
