I’m cynical enough at this point to suspect that tanking the stock market is intentional so those who can afford to ride it out (READ: billionaire oligarchs) can buy low, cementing further profits and control when things turn around after the “temporary discomfort” we have been told to anticipate.

Perhaps it’s time to borrow a page from Ayn Rand. Perhaps “Atlas” should shrug. All the non-billionaires should just stop doing what the billionaires are relying on us to do. Would anything get done. What do you think?
