❤️ Residents learned lifesaving skills at last night's Restart a Heart event. From CPR and defibrillators to bleed kits, the event was attended by the NHS, Police, Fire and charity partners as part of a month of anti-violence campaigning in association with the Knife Angel.

Hertfordshire’s VAWG conference last week brought together partners across the county. There was the chance to hear from keynote speakers David Challen, plus Daniel Guinness from Beyond Equality, while workshops allowed a range of topics to be discussed in detail.

We've written to the Secretary of State for Transport to raise concerns over low fines for utility companies who carry out poor practice. The letter calls for the Department for Transport to go ahead with doubling these fines, and allow councils to hold utilities to account.

🥳 An astounding 18,117 children took part in the Summer Reading Challenge across Hertfordshire Libraries this year, where each participant aimed to read six books during the school holidays.
