as others have said, Lazy Devs and NerdyTeachers (nerdyteachers.com/PICO-8/Game_...) are great resources, but my advice is to learn by building a lot of small things instead of trying to make a huge project

this is a little late but I recently made Modulo, a minimalist webapp to put time in perspective!

select a time range, and see what's left visually. add notes and colors to dots, then save them. change up your theme too!
