Hello! I am a 17 year old beginner software "Dev" who likes to tinker around with older consoles and videogames. I also try and stream and post on YouTube whenever I can.
I know, right? One of the most visually stunning games on the ps4 imo. This post reminds me I should probably get back to platinuming the game lol, can't wait for Ghost of Yōtei though!

I'm lucky enough to be in a magnet program in my highschool, our senior project is to develop a full game, market it, and release it. And me and my group get to keep all the money we make off the game. It's definitely a good program, but I really wish they taught us how to use github lmao

There are tons of tutorials for Godot, and a large community to help you with ideas and implementing them. Start small, and grow as time goes on

Over time you'll slowly find yourself coming up with ideas for this world you're making, what are the goals? Potential side quests? How is the main character involved in the beginning? Once you have a decent amount of story and game mechanics you wanna use, try to implement them into a project

I wouldn't recommend just starting a new project and messing around, create a game design document, Just joy down ideas for a story first. Which idea sounds good? How can you add little bits to an idea you like? How can you add characters to your story to flesh it out?

Mines alright, we're supposed to be Learning C# this year, yet so far for the entire first 9 weeks, it's been a Javascript and html review from last year and the year before.

Good morning. It's Toby. I registered a Bluesky Account.

As a celebration AND proof, I offer you a juicy AND fuzzy roast chicken. You can be certain it's the real me because of its poor quality and taste.

Please be nice to me.

Been thinking about saving for a steam deck, would you say it's worth it for a LED model, or an oled?
