btw, baking good lightmaps for scenes like this, takes forever on my t14 gen 2 with no discrete GPU. T_T

Hell yeah! I also, tried to make a blobber with Godot + Trenchbroom at one point, but never made anything more than a "gray and orange brushes" prototype thingy. I hope, unlike me, you can finish your game!

Thank you! I want to make some Vagrant Story inspired character models for this, but I think I will need a LOT of practice with Blockbench, before I can even approach doing that lol.
