Oh I've never finished Ender Lilies specifically because of the final area. I think the game is incredibly good and beautiful in all other parts but the final part is unbelievably punishing and just not enjoyable personally

I swear I didn't know when I was getting it but it's so funny oh my god, the colour schemes are so similar, pink eyes, white hair (the adopt has wavy hair while Aelita's are in ringlets), the bodysuit+bow are literally the same colour as Aelita's sweater

This one isn't so bad to be honest, I think making the primary colour scheme white, gold and pink helps a lot. And the shoulder pieces aren't associated with SS uniform iconography! This reads a lot more "generic military" comparatively but I can see why it would still make people uncomfy.

I totally forgot about the voice changer and that was a big part of the blowup too LOL and yup!!! I've seen a lot of the same reposted image in support of her like...it's the same shit. People desperate to use this as culture war fuel are exhausting.

Basically, she made a new design that looked uncomfortably close to a WWII SS uniform. People didn't exactly respond favourably to it and she's been crashing out over it on stream and on twitter so now actual awful people are trying to get her on their side. It's a mess.

I'm kind of going on a tangent here but I think people want callouts to be cut and dry "you call out this person and they stop having a fanbase" but it just doesn't happen as often as you think. So that's how the usual suspects end up rolling up in someone's replies like this.

Sometimes you'll see someone vanish instantly if they're actually trying to hide from accountability but it isn't that common. You'll more often than not see people weather any accusations or criticism and handle it poorly or pretty well. And we know Twitch is useless with suspensions.

I guess that's why it's hard to deplatform them because sure, you can call them out until you're blue in the face but all you can do is warn people about their behavior. People have this idea in their heads that deplatforming is easy but it really, truly isn't especially if you're a CC.

Being "controversial" gets you views because people LOVE that shit. And the 'face' of being a vtuber being making yourself an anime character empowers alt-right weebs who want to find people who agree with them *and* spread their views.

Text limit and all of that but certain notorious ragebaiters, bigots and the worst people you know will keep it up forever until the well is dry. That's the unfortunate part of the content creator sphere. If it makes them money, they won't quit, no matter how many times people call them out.
