Whatever happened to

The Safdies have done this in the past and I'd say it's worked pretty well. Sure, it might not have many advantages compared to just hiring a professional but it doesn't really take away from the film. IMO, it's no more distracting than casting a famous actor.

Yeah... It sucks that there is really no other piece of software that does both raster and vector (except PS). I personally always hop back and forth between GIMP and Inkscape but that's not a great workflow. I think Graphite and PixiEditor look promising but they're just not usable at the moment. 🫤

Freedom's the ability to do as you wish. The prerequisite for freedom is property.
