In This House, we see the world wildly and in wild ways, we dance EVERY Fri. Day. Night, we take the time to think of something silly, and we don’t want you to have the worst day at your job. Also Star Wars. A lot of Star Wars.
Loki, God of Mischief, for the win.

Wallace Shawn campaigned for him, Mandy Patinkin celebrates the holidays with him. Waiting to hear from Cary Elwes and Christopher Guest.

Just watched it yesterday and can confirm. I had heard that said a bunch of times about it and gawd was it true. I had to pause it to take a call and it was an hour and 38 minutes in but I could have swore I had just started it.

Awhile back, John Oliver did a segment on what happens when you donate your body to science, so I’d guess this could be a possible outcome.

Of all the other horrible places he mentioned for a corpse to end up, I’d rather be literally anywhere else than as filler on these awful people.

Maisie inspired me to watch The Sound of Music last night.

Those look like the stick-on numbers from my cheap wall clock.

I want to be absolutely clear when I say that this is in no way enough and she doesn’t deserve forgiveness from anyone, but she did technically say the words.

‘Humbly, I’m sorry’: Marjorie Taylor Greene says she’s turning a new leaf after years of divisive comments | CNN Politics
Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said Sunday she will stop using “toxic” rhetoric, marking what would be a dramatic shift in a political brand hallmarked by derogatory comments.

genuine effort to make amends for her horrible words or actions beyond a half-hearted apology that was dragged out of her on television. The words are empty without deeds, of course.
December 15, 2025 at 11:35 PM
She did….sort of. When she was on CNN, she complained about the death threats she received after Trump started attacking her. The reporter mentioned that her comments have made other people targets in the past and she basically said she was sorry for her part in any vitriol. She has not, however 1/

Exactly. I can understand taxpayers funding legal defenses when there are unintended negative consequences related to legislation or something. But when you’re just being an awful piece of shit? No. That’s not fair and there should be a workaround for that.

I used to go to Movement every year back when it was free and we just called it the tech fest. The after parties were insane. Seeing George Clinton was definitely a highlight. Ahhh, to be in my 20’s again…sigh, good times.

This story is real, it’s been told in books and podcasts. Why do you think it isn’t real?
December 15, 2025 at 7:42 PM
Right? They force fed her to the world when she was a sympathetic character and it backfired once the normies learned more about him. You’d think they’d recalibrate by now but they don’t have any more high-profile deaths to pin on the “radical left” as Trump literally murders by the boatload.

The moderation AI hid your reply for being rude, so that’s neat I guess.

Tell your mom I appreciate that the stand she takes against the Robot Revolution by keeping us in business 👍🏽

I will (anecdotally) deny their utility. I clean houses and basically every one of my customers has a robot vacuum in the back corner of a closet somewhere, and I can assure you they absolutely do not use them (or any other vacuum) between my visits.

I always say that guys that look like Jon Hamm are almost always huge douchbags; and he somehow manages to escape that fate.

Just a hunch but i thought you might enjoy a few pics from our visit to the Detroit TARDIS [little library] a few weeks ago.

My best guess is they experienced shame and kept their mouths shut. That’s the best case scenario, though.
December 10, 2025 at 11:10 PM
I’m somehow still not being clear so I’m just gonna say I agree with you and leave it at that.

The reason I mentioned it in the first place is because I’m happy that they both got to be redeemed, especially since we (the public) were forced fed a narrative that they were irredeemable.

Jude Law is another one. I’m not trying to make this political, I swear, but now, seeing all these terrible men get away with terrible things…really puts into perspective what actually matters in the public sphere. Does that make sense?
December 10, 2025 at 4:14 PM
Sorry for implying you were afraid, I just remember it being such a huge thing. As for the rest of my reply, that was definitely the general consensus in the media and it seeped into my opinion then. I look back on it now and it’s kind of embarrassing. That all I was trying to say.
