I care about the woes of the world, but it's not healthy to consume all of this and function in the real world. We're in echo chambers, wanting to prove we're better than the other side by sharing EVERY horrible thing happening everywhere and posting all the flags in bios.

This is my first time seeing anything about this. I walked away from advocacy work before November because I was tired of bearing my soul and working for free. On November 5, I totally checked out, moved from X to here, and chose happiness as my resistance. I chose myself for once.

I've watched docs on the industry; many funeral homes aren't family-owned anymore. Families in mourning go in blind, to a point.
Then the add-ons and now people can arrange elaborate services (positioned on bikes, on stage, at a card table.) 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️
