Insurance companies be like “you just got that appendix taken out for cosmetic reasons”
Today in healthcare insanity: Blue Cross Blue Shield is trying to deny the claim for my emergency appendectomy. They claim there were no notes, scans etc and of course there were. They also get the hospital wrong. I was treated at Mt Sinai Brooklyn, not Mt Sinai Beth Israel.
