This man is a monster. He has no human empathy. He is an embarrassment to this country. People lost their jobs and are still being hounded because of much more banal comments about Charlie Kirk.
Q: A number of Republicans have denounced your statement on Rob Reiner. Do you stand by it?

TRUMP: Well, I wasn't a fan of his at all. He was a deranged person as far as Trump is concerned.

Not really an overstatement to say that the test of a free society is whether or not comedians can make fun of the country's leader on TV without repurcussions.

I had the pleasure of taking a library course about advising readers on comics and graphic novels this past semester. Comics have always been a blindspot of mine, so I welcome any recommendations! Below are 9 (of ~25) I read for the course that I loved and recommend #booksky

It really is enraging to see so many people with wealth, privilege, and power getting on their knees and capitulating to Trump. Trans people don't have any of that and we refuse to back down.

I never want to hear from any of these people about principles or values ever again.

the Trump administration has made a calculation that our elite institutions, from universities to law firms, are spineless and without principle, and they have been proven utterly correct
So it seems Columbia gave the Trump administration everything they wanted and more, including a new "vice provost" who will review curriculum, hiring, and leadership.
