Marner only played 20 mins a game. It’s not like they were good defensively for a third of the game and then were useless every time he was off the ice. It’s definitely a coaching problem, guys are being told to do things that are counter intuitive, which leads to poor decision making.

Pretty sure he’s the defensive systems coach which would explain why they all look like they’re running around like chickens with their heads off.
