The unit up for sale across the parking lot has taken itself off the market. Which means I no longer have any competition for buyers. I have no idea what to think or how to feel about this.

Property Mgmt. Co. has called a Mandatory Owners Meeting on 2/18 to discuss the $4.4 Million in necessary exterior repairs, of which my share would be $138K. I had planned on spending that day working, getting my hair cut, then doing my taxes but okay, I'll drown in anxiety for 3 weeks instead.

I'm debating having a fried egg on sourdough sandwich with avocado for lunch but considering i'm in the process of trying to buy a house it might be a little too extravagant

While i COULD file my taxes now, because I have investment accounts i have to wait until Feb 18th to get my hands on those particular 1099's. Dagnabit. I want to re-do my pre-approval and need my 2024 taxes done for that.

Went back to the old place to install a shower curtain rod and paint the toe kick under the upstairs bathroom sink cabinet. Was a little odd how much it was, and wasn't, my house. Also definitely painting new house yellow. Agreeable Grey is ugh.

One thing living for months in a friend's office while this whole house sell/buy thing happens puts in perspective is just how easy it's been to exist without a lot of the crap that used to be on the bathroom counters
I think once the new house exists I'll toss most of it

Corporate collision repair shop declined to take the truck to fix it, because the tailgate on my truck is discontinued. So i'm back to wrangling with auto insurance, trying to get it repaired via independent shop who can use junkyard parts as needed to fix things.
