- gutted federal services including FEMA
- said he was going to refuse funding to blue states

On top of that ICE is ramping up operations in our state including submitting expansion plans here. Are you living in a cave or something?

Important stuff going on at the Capitol meanwhile our neighbors are taken straight off the streets.

The only reason why WA ranks first in potholes is because the states with actually the most potholes don't bother to count them, let alone fix them.

Most of the US has infra problems. If we're not taxing the rich and kicking ICE out of our states.... Soon potholes will be the least of our worries.

So to anyone from Greenland, or even Europe watching this... Hear me well. I say this not to offend sensibilities, but to give warning of what's to come.

Any further "negotiation" or "working together" will involve only pushing Greenland ownership towards the US.

And when he does invade, your leaders have proven today that they will continue to fail you again, and again... Just as our enabler Democratic party does here.

Trump has already invaded the sovereignty of another country and has little to no consequences from it from the international community. He does not care about what you see as your borders because to him, those things already belong to him.

This was a test to see how hard your leaders will ACTUALLY push back against an invasion.

And when your leader's response is effectively "We will work together to understand the nuance", they have doomed you possibly even more than they know.

The lesson we're all about to learn together is that when you allow someone, who will kill you and everyone you know just for fun, to the table... You have already lost.

This was not a negotiation of any kind from the perspective of the Trump regime.

What you don't understand is that Trump has already decided "in the weeks or months" ahead to take Greenland.

No matter how dedicated your people are to attempting to bridge the gap and meet security needs of both countries, if you give him an inch he will take a mile.

But what you watched is the same neo-liberal logic that got us where we are today.

I also understand that the Danish officials are effectively cornered, and trying to do damage control to prevent irking Trump's ire, for fear it will make the situation worse.

This is an incredibly shocking thing to hear given your officials assurance that they got it through to the US that Greenland's borders must be respected.

I understand that Trump is a US created problem, and that we have failed to reign him in. And you're right to be mad at that.
