SO, I GUESS I WASN'T OVERREACTING AFTER ALL! Just trying to make it through this shit show with my sanity intact and not screaming "I fucking told you so" ever 10 minutes. Joy is resistance, so I am going to go enjoy myself.
I am still in awe of the so called "smart people" on Wall Street who are pretending these numbers are real. It is a repeat of their magical thinking prior to the Great Recession. Wonder who will play the main characters in the sequel to "The Big Short?"

Your mom and I might be spirit animals. I used to eat Vicks VapoRub instead of paste. Also, my sister and I would get ahold of new bottles of Flintstone Vitamins and divide them equally as if though they were Pez candies. Parents in the 80's really did a horrible job of watching their children.🫠

I agree. I've worked in the construction/homebuilding business for 30+ yrs. We need to do better at regulating it. But one place to start is by prohibiting hedge funds, retirement funds & foreign entities from buying homes. They pay cash well beyond the ask price & artificially inflate the values.

I feel this. But I am still floored by the number of people who are still saying that "this or that" can't/won't happen. Too many people are still not grasping what is occurring.
