Nothing I needed, but I found a 1920 Buffalo, a 1943-S and a 1945-P silver war nickel, and a Canadian nickel...

Some more shortwave pirate radio activity! WENO signed on 6925 USB a few minutes ago, they have an excellent signal here in Westminster MD USA at 1618 UTC, as you may guess, they're playing music by Brian Eno.

...The first roll gave me the 1943-P silver war nickel. Then I found 8 Buffalo nickels, 6 came from one roll and 2 from the next roll, both from the same branch. I also found this neat looking 2023-D nickel that might be a grease strike?

Oh! And one of the Buffalo nickels...

...Usually I dread searching customer rolls. About half the time they're average/meh. About half the time they're another CRHers' garbage dump. About 0.1% of the time they are awesome. This was one of those 0.1% cases...

I'm taking a break from painting some exterior doors, I got to the shack just in time for shortwave pirate radio station 77LJS to sign on 6930 USB. A very good signal here in Westminster MD USA at 1537 UTC. He's playing some Miles Davis jazz.

More morning shortwave pirate radio activity! A station signed on 6925 USB a few minutes ago, playing spooky Halloween related sounds, creaking, thumps, monsters, etc. A great signal here in Wesminster MD USA at 1234 UTC.

Shortwave pirate radio station Rolling Stones Radio has been on 6850 USB since about 1100 UTC with a very good signal here in Westminster MD USA. And they've already sent the #eQSL !
