The President can deescalte the situation by removing all ICE "agents" from Minneapolis and making sure that all subsequent federal enforcement activities conform to well-established constitutional mandates and limitations concerning the exercise of governmental powers. Easy peasy.

It's both terrifying and mesmerizing to watch how events unfold with ICE in Minneapolis. Interestingly, the way ICE applied does not seem to aim to actually squash resistance, but allow the level of confrontation to grow. I wonder why
