👉 The 2025 Report shows that the Convention on Cluster Munitions is making a real difference. In 2024 alone, States Parties cleared more cluster munition remnants than they did in the previous five years.

This is what humanitarian progress looks like: safe ground for civilians and their futures.

The Cluster Munition Monitor released today shows the positive impacts of the Oslo Convention on clearance & victim assistance.
👉Still a lot of work needs to be done.

At the age of 15, following an explosion in Syria, Mohamad was injured at school, resulting in a spinal cord injury (paraplegia). For 3 years, Mohamad lived without any rehabilitation care. After uptake of his care program , it is important for Mohamad to be able to live in a safe and accessible environment that keeps him from the risk of falls and secondary injury as well.
