A friend of tala

People voting for racist parties with racist policies are racists.
People voting for homophobic parties with homophobic policies are homophobic etc...

This shouldn't be difficult to understand.
I'm sure it is everyone else's fault and that just proves you're right.

AI summaries aren't perfect, but this stuff has been discussed to death for decades now and if all you've seen is the football and got upset with Linekers comments because of articles Neil possibly approved idk what to tell you
December 7, 2025 at 3:33 PM
😂 ... sounds about right for a guy pointing at other people making accusations of conspiracy theories to defend rightwing positions.
December 7, 2025 at 3:17 PM
You've definitely seen climate change deniers on the BBC... Andrew Neil being one... as well as using his position to regularly platform non-scientists and science deniers on his show 🤷‍♀️..

But hey, you've never seen it and if you did everyone else is mistaken or its a conspiracy. Cool, cool.
December 7, 2025 at 3:13 PM
How would you distinguish his views from far-right ideologies.

You seem to think there is a difference, I don't.
December 7, 2025 at 2:09 PM
Do you think it is impartial to platform one climate change denier on an equal footing with the rest of the scientific community? ... Amongst many other examples... Like having right wing political commentators free to express their ideas and left wing sports personalities being prevented...🤷‍♀️
December 7, 2025 at 2:07 PM
How is Neil not a far right political commentator?
December 7, 2025 at 2:03 PM
... and the news and the political coverage being right wing is the problem and needs to be criticised.. Rather than their sports and entertainment output.
December 7, 2025 at 2:01 PM
Neil was the political editor of the spectator and regularly produces far right content and he was the biggest interviewer for political content on the platform for a while... He was the face of the BBC for people who watch political content.
December 7, 2025 at 1:59 PM
... So you don't think the right are attacking the BBC?

... There hasn't been a shift in content despite the BBC stating they are going to change the content they produce to appeal to the right?..

... Should we compare how Lineker for "leftist comments" was treated to Andrew Neil of the spectator.

Write better bills...

That would be a whole lot more of a convincing argument if half of you were not bought and paid for or some of the worst people in society.

The way you all act wouldn't be tolerated in any work place or family dinner table.

If you don't like the house of lords, abolish it.
December 7, 2025 at 9:38 AM
I agree, but it isn't trivial to do.

You have to have clear evidence that is what they have done and get it to court within 6 months of the incident iirc. There are also a bunch of exceptions.
December 7, 2025 at 9:30 AM
I wouldn't rely on it. I don't think a single person has been prosecuted for this since it came into effect.
December 6, 2025 at 11:47 PM
Most of them aren't genuine parts either and operate at a lower frequency iirc... but hey, they still work.
December 6, 2025 at 7:32 PM
In a just idealised society absolutely, but in the UK 😬

I can't see this as anything other than a choice and seemingly not a difficult one.

Many people make bad choices when they are in difficult situations all the time, they are still responsible for what they do and it reflects who they are. 🤷‍♀️

A conservative political appointee not happy that despite extending her post and give her a a lot of opportunities to further her own agenda, claims the labour party didn't go far enough fast enough.
December 6, 2025 at 12:41 PM
Quite.

But that wasn't how they decided to reinterpret the sex characteristic or redefined what the gr characteristic is meant to mean.
December 6, 2025 at 11:53 AM
It's very much one of those things where people around you notice and often make accommodations (or very much the opposite), but no one ever tells you.
December 6, 2025 at 9:40 AM
You've also got an aspect of being neuro spicy can become a lot more visible if someone is under stress and/or in an environment that isn't suitable... in some cases that might then become considered disordered when it wouldn't otherwise be.

We don't always have the ability to fix pressures/env. 🤷‍♀️
December 6, 2025 at 9:36 AM
It isn't. The argument was that whoever wrote the EA never considered trans people to exist or was an idiot and the gra was never meant to be "for all purposes" that was just a misunderstanding and everyone involved didn't know what they were doing, so I'm going to legislate from the bench & retire.
December 6, 2025 at 9:25 AM
Given the headline, the picture is an interesting choice. I kinda always assumed that Reeves is neuro spicy, though I don't think there have been any public statements about it, so it is pure speculation on my part.
December 6, 2025 at 9:21 AM
I saw something about asking for details about an abuser having been viewed as an issue or was reported as targeted harassment or similar.
December 6, 2025 at 9:07 AM
It's all "just pretend trans people don't exist and it'll be fine".

... Which evidently isn't quite the case.
December 6, 2025 at 9:05 AM
Is it better to save the explanations for court so they can figure it out as they go rather than give them time to find some ruling from 1832 to misinterpret and invent a backstory that never existed.
December 6, 2025 at 12:57 AM
How would a schedule 16 exemption be justified in this case. I've no idea where the threshold for this is any more. I thought it was more for "intimate" spaces, rather than meetings.
December 6, 2025 at 12:40 AM
There are some medium format photography enthusiasts trying to cash in on it and now seem to only call it 6 7 format, instead of 6 by 7/6x7.
