I remember some short story authors replacing their works with audio narrations. Seems like a good call. Hopefully this leads somewhere, and protect artists' works in the process. Currently there are no restrictions against web-scrappers and LLMs.
Stanford researchers just managed to prove how you can easily extract near-verbatim dumps of books from the training data of production LLMs by simply asking them to do that in a very specific way LMAO I can smell lawsuits coming
