There's truly nothing like social media to show you the worst sides of people you (used to) respect. Also I hope you haven't just painted a big target on your back with this post :/

I’m happy to see I’m not the only one who does that! Years ago I used to keep up with the myriad of plugins and tools needed to remove DRM myself but I honestly can’t bother anymore (and I don’t have the time!) so now I just download them and move them to whatever device I feel like using.

Oh and the IPv6 firewall? In some models it defaults to off. Or the ISP considers it "optional": www.centurylink.com/home/help/in...
IPv6 firewall
Activating the IPv6 Firewall is optional. When the firewall is activated, security on your network is enhanced, but some network functionality will be lost.

You're assuming people know what they're doing, but surprise, most of the times they don't. Search for "Technicolor firewall" or "port forwarding" or any other tangentially related term: you'll find a ton of Reddit discussions where users turn on and off any option they see until they get a result.

It's literally one checkbox on my ISP-provided home router: IPv6 Firewall Enabled/Disabled.

Misconfigured NAT means that your devices can't connect to the public internet, misconfigured IPv6 packet filtering means your devices are suddenly exposed to the public internet, and you may not even notice. The security implications are quite different.

I've read that many seemingly plural surnames are actually remnants of genitive. That looks plausible for Renzi and Andreotti, at least.
