Many much more colorful happy games have child soldiers without any grim tone or explanation to it so i'd really say those are the worlds where actually nobody cares whether you are children or not.

Otherwise, well. From practical standpoint it's obvious game devs would choose to have playable kids in gacha because it's profitable. I just think it's neat that they didn't shun from this kind of moral conflict within the game.
