I like the milk/cream combo (or, I guess, half and half—we just don’t use it otherwise, so it’s cream and milk at our house) because cream alone makes them too light and milk alone makes them too biscuity. I’m a one trick pony with scones, though—combo of KA and Smitten Kitchen.

I keep all the handmade ornaments that have my kids’ pictures or fingerprints in the fireproof safe except for when they’re on the tree!

I literally just realized that was Theo James this year.

Our girl (at the foot of the stairs) is super affectionate but also not usually very emotionally perceptive. During that last drive, she was walking around offering herself to the three of us for petting or otherwise using her to distract ourselves.

LOL, is Scott coming into his Munson era? I’ll never forget driving back to Athens in the sleet during the Tech game in 2000, turning on Munson only to hear “they are horsewhipping us,” and then turning it right off.

It’s my personal favorite b/c that guy’s enabler was a guy who was an Episcopal priest who left and became a Catholic priest (but remained married) and is virulently anti-choice.

Ha, that’s how I made them this afternoon! Similarly, my mother refuses to even try Brussels sprouts no matter how they’re prepared because my grandmother would only serve them boiled without salt.

Omg the place by the grocery store I drive 45 minutes to has that and it is, quite frankly, MARVELOUS.

We finished Andor and then re-watched Rogue One and it failed to leave an impression on me to the extent that I told my husband and son a few weeks later that we needed to watch it because I had forgotten that we already had.
