Arsenal and happiness. Still learning to do the latter when Arsenal don’t win.
Good to see White get a start. He was a bit rusty which was understandable and subbing him off for Timber was the right call by Arteta as Olympiacos did get some joy down our right hand side. However, we will definitely need to timeshare the RB position if we want to win big trophies this season.

Olympiacos was a routine win because of this incredible save by Raya. Still doesn’t get the credit he deserves for his performances.
I also love how he encouraged the Clock End fans to cheer on the boys as the visitors started to get a bit of momentum during the second half.

3 points, job done, on to the next one. No one will remember this game next season. Yes, our level dropped in the second half and I worried that as Olympiacos had grown in confidence they might snatch a point. But our Starboy came on and sealed the deal. His Champions League record is outstanding.

So many positives to take from the win at Newcastle, but the one that stood out for me was Rice’s reaction after Merino’s equaliser. He barely celebrated, he grabbed the ball from the goal and raced back to the halfway line. The message to the team: job’s not done, we’re here to get 3 points not 1.

We’ve just completed the best transfer window I’ve ever witnessed at Arsenal and a portion of the ‘fan base’ are crying about sales.
This is the 1st time we’ve filled every squad gap since moving to Emirates stadium.
We’ve risen fast, players got left behind. It’s that simple.

Only €17m for Kiwior?
Firstly, the player didn’t want to play in England which limited our options. However, if he’d gone to Palace as suggested, they may have sold Guehi to Liverpool.
Would we want to see Liverpool strengthen at the back for an extra 5-10m?
I’m ok with this and wish him well.

bsky.app/profile/gunn... I’m sure you also saw Arteta Out was graffitied on some of the murals around the Emirates stadium.
It’s a shame someone felt the need to deface another Gunner’s hard work.
But why did they?
Partey fallout?
Madueke dismay?
Not signing a striker before July?
July 14, 2025 at 7:11 AM
Like most Arsenal fans I want us to sign Eze and I’m underwhelmed at the prospect of signing Madueke.
But which of the 2 is a bigger obstacle for Nwaneri given the plan to play him centrally.
Signing Eze may result in Nwaneri reconsidering his future at Arsenal.

Any idea what the delay was about at the end of the match?
I presume a VAR check but nothing was said in the stadium.
Why no explanation?

Will PGMOL also be getting winners medals this season?
2 more challenges unpunished: Robertson on Saka and Konate on MLS when similar incidents have received red cards this season.

Arteta can’t be blamed for our January recruitment when he made it clear he wanted reinforcements - that’s a club decision.
He’s not perfect - but he’s perfect for us and will lead us to success.
Carragher’s contention that we’ve plateaued under him is utter nonsense, like most of what he says.

The title might have gone this season.
But don’t let disappointment overshadow how far we’ve come.
More importantly don’t get sucked into the vitriol designed to divide our fanbase.
We have a role to play - support the team.
Play your role as you demand the players to play theirs. It counts big time

There was very little about yesterday’s performance to highlight, but this sprint and skill combo by Raya is worth remembering.

Happy about the 2-2, even happier that this confirms we’re in their heads.
Van Dijk said Arsenal before correcting himself to commend Villa after the game.

£65K fine for us because of a mistake by Michael Oliver.
One of so many.
Can commentators please stop referring to him as the country’s top referee, because he’s not. Not even close.

Both of Merino’s goals were copycat Havertz goals.
In times of crisis, solutions are created.

I was convinced before. I’m even more convinced now. Adding Isak in the summer would be massive.
Never seen Saliba like this against any other striker.
He’s way stronger than he looks and much smarter than any other striker in the league.

A few weeks ago making the Carabao Cup final seemed very unlikely.
But if feels like game on after the last few results for both teams.
First goal will be crucial.
I’d love to see these 2 start tonight’s game. They make us better.

Girona have nothing to play for on Wednesday as they can’t qualify. But they’re owned by City Group.
So don’t be surprised if they put in a highly ‘incentivised’ performance just before we play Man City. #Arsenal

This may have been said by others, but the more I see Liverpool this season the more their performances remind me of us 2 seasons ago.
Not meant as any form of criticism or projection on how the season will end.
Second half of this season is going to be very interesting.

Saliba will get the plaudits for his performance against United, but Kiwior stepping in with so few minutes under his belt and putting in that kind of display was top. He’s a good central defender, and I think our view of him is coloured by performances at LB which is not his natural position.

I used to get annoyed with all the pundits claiming Saka isn’t world class and saying this player and that player is better than our star boy. But I’d actually like to thank them and hope they continue because it’s clearly driving him on to even higher levels - his celebration is the perfect reply.

I’m a huge fan of Ben White at RB but Timber gives us more variety going forward without any drop off in defending.
White is still the undisputed king of sh*thousery but then again Timber isn’t taking any prisoners on the pitch either.
We’re very fortunate to have both.
