Another cold and flu tip: that dry cough that won’t seem to go away at the end of an illness tends to be an “irritative cough” that needs steam, moistening herbs (marshmallow root, licorice) and antispasmodics (wild cherry bark, lobelia) and eating oatmeal. Moisten to calm the inflammation.

If anyone else is battling colds and flus, quick tip: a fever is your friend. 100-104 is a good working fever where the pathogens are either destroyed or become weakened while your own immune system goes into beast mode at these raised temps. Exceptions: under 2, over 80 or lower health. Hydrate!
