Chauncey Billups also said the Blazers won’t be resting players for full games during preseason. He instead will be finding rest for them during games in terms of their minutes.

He knows for sure he won’t play Jrue Holiday in the second half against the Warriors tomorrow.

Chauncey Billups says the team will experiment with different lineups during the preseason opener tomorrow and throughout the preseason games.

He advised people not to read too much into it and what it means for minutes/lineups during the regular season.

The Blazers have signed Sean Pedulla to an Exhibit 10 contract and waived training-camp players Andrew Carr, Liam Robbins and MarJon Beauchamp. Javonte Cooke is the only other training-camp player still on the roster.

The Cherngs' response brief to the initial complaint filed by the Bhathals is due tomorrow by 3pm ET. Like the original lawsuit, this will likely be under seal at first and then be unsealed a few days later.

The hearing for the temporary restraining order RAJ Sports is requesting against the Cherng family in the lawsuit about the Blazers sale is scheduled for next Wednesday, October 15, at 3:15pm ET in Wilmington, Delaware according to the court docket.

An update on Jrue Holiday not being able to wear #11: when the trade happened, the number was unavailable because Bryce McGowens was still under contract. Jrue could have switched since but it sounds like he’s good just sticking with 5. So that’s that.
