Living in the shadow of the Rockies on my little piece of High Plains prairie. Done with formal career pursuits, but talk to me about the history of highways, meteorology, geology and seismology, or prog rock.
Is Pete Kegsbreath's nonsense based on that Scots-Irish military culture this guy talked about? I guess I'm a true race traitor, because I've never heard of this concept before.

This regime is a perfect combination of incompetence and a total lack of humanity. Please #$DEITY, may there be a true reckoning and full accountability some day soon.

Never mind my passport. Do I have to start carrying documentation I'm descended from a passenger on the Mayflower?

The underground injection control program is under the Safe Drinking Water Act, and EPA delegates the program to willing states. I don't know Oklahoma's status. One requirement is periodic pressure testing, and if there were voids in the grout, that would show. Major reg agency failure.

Thanks, I hadn't seen that paper. Something to look for driving across the otherwise pretty dull eastern plains, as it runs right next to Hwy 96 through the tiny towns of Haswell and Arlington. Lots of faults in CO, but nearly all along southern mountains.

Any connection to the weirdly located Cheraw Fault? It's on the north slope of the Arkansas River valley from near Rocky Ford to Eads, kind of along Hwy. 96. Apparently still active, and its scarp can be seen if you really know what to look for.

Wonderful! From now on, I'm presenting my homemade mashed potatoes like an albino shit emoji.

Finally there is a line defining "Too stupid for Fox News". Has she tried OANN?

If I dig deep enough in my photo archives, I'll find photos from when it came through Pueblo over 10 years ago.

I still have a warm spot for CP/M.

I guess this means the Sinclair hostile takeover of Scripps will be shoved through as well. There goes the Colorado Springs-Pueblo TV news market.

I can't wait for "Melania 2 --- After the Don".

Lee Greenwood is older than Trump, so a 3 year God Bless the USA residency there isn't feasible, and otherwise there will be long, embarrassing gaps in the schedule. Better to close it and tart it up like Mar a Lago to make another monument. And remove JFK's name, too, I bet.

I guess it was devastating to see that Florida wasn't keeping up with South Carolina's measles numbers.

It'll be interesting to see if the fashy haircut takes off in the MAGAsphere.

It's the most boring of my cycle of four hot cereals (malt-o-meal, 5 minute oatmeal, cream of wheat, Bob's Red Mill oat bran). But, it's certainly filling and blends nicely with fruit.

At least they've still got Mike Lindell.
