First piece of art for 2026 is one I had been working on last year. Ragnar was my D&D character for 5 years and he is very dear to me! 🥹 It was really fun to revisit and update his designs after so long since I last played him!

Ragnar Gundersen began as a Champion Fighter, multiclassed into Monster Slayer Ranger, and finally switched to the Rune Knight fighter subclass. Ragnar is an older man with thin, grey hair and tired blue eyes. He has a thick beard and a thin scar that cuts down his face and into the beard. He wears chainmail under blue cold weather clothing and leathers. In his hands are a long sword and wooden kite shield. A fluffy grey and black cat named Smudge walks beside him. By level 9, Ragnar has upgraded his armour to a grey breastplate. Around his neck is a silver pentagram and a scratched, gold coin. In his hand he wields a hammer with a head of ice. Within that ice is a violent lightning storm that gives off a blue glow. On his shoulder, stand Smudge, who has been turned into a Tressym via a set of wings. At level 15, Ragnar has geared up for war. He wears a set of full plate armour made from a white metal and adorned with a lightning design motif with blue trim. He is a full foot taller due to his Rune Knight subclass. His hammer is larger and glows green. In his other hand is a shield made of white dragon scales.

My weird New Years Eve tradition is replaying through Journey! God this game is beautiful. The art direction and the music are incredible 🤩

This year was the fist time I sadly did not meet any other travellers 😢

Finished up my realistic Pokemon team, looking back at my life when I was 10! The funny thing is I think the only pokemon I’ve actually used is Corphish 😂 This was a fun trend though! Hard to figure out what Pokemon worked best 🤔

Sketch of the pokemon I would have realistically been able to catch based on my childhood. Inspired by a trend I saw recently. Herdier. My family dog was a terrier and Herdier is the closest match. I drew him with a missing eye to match. Pidove. My Mum leaves bird feeders out in the garden but mostly the pigeons feast on them. In the mornings they sit on our roof waiting. Alternative pick would be Starly. Bunnelby. I had a pet rabbit named Peter as a child and I refuse to associate with Scorbunny. Corphish. My neighbour and I would fish for crayfish in the canal down in our hometown. Vivillon. I chased butterflies, that is all. Nickit. I’ve often seen foxes roaming around my neighbourhood at night or in the early morning.
