I plan to do more knotweed experiments this year bc it is uhhhhhh lets say “plentiful”. This was dyed with processed leaves but i want to try the roots, too. For now i’ve got a scrap in the window to test it’s lightfastness before i start using it in quilts or anything

I havent done personal writing or memoir work in a loooong time, so it’s a little intimidating but this is a topic ive been thinking about since 2023 so it will haunt me the rest of my life if i dont pursue it

I have two big comic projects on my plate this year:
1. Fun quilting inspired yaoi
2. Personal essay/analysis of Takano Ichigo’s manga Orange and themes of grief

Which will i focus on first… the world is open to me… maybe i’ll sew something instead
