I was excited someone was keeping a theater open downtown but the vibe seemed all wrong for the location, and I thought it was pretty wild to open a bar/restaurant called Johnnie's when there was already a Johnny's two blocks away

apparently they've removed the sinks since i was last there. so they probably don't have the broken mildewy hand dryers in each stall now since the sinks are gone?

I was mad off the bat when they opened the downtown location because they didn't bother to include the fucked up/mildewy downstairs bathrooms in their renovations, and and when the rewards program didn't work properly for me, I quit bothering with them.

What they definitely are is my favorite band that was playing again after ending in tragedy 20 years ago, after I last saw them 22 years ago this week, who I saw so many times with friends who meant the world to me, & gave me the opportunity to see some of those friends & friends-of-friends
