Well, as one who played professional sports for a bit I'd come close to betting the house that there isn't one athlete DM'ing actors hoping that's mentioned if it's around anything related to orientation. It doesn't work like that.

I sure hope their thinking wasn't driven by fear, which I imagine is a possibility, or an attempt to pull a "new" audience. Because that ain't gonna' happen.

Those are athletes. They have NOTHING to do with politics. I've worked closely with Olympic athletes. Many of them Russian. Trust me on that one.
