I've never heard this story. Wow.
Nice job with this. Well done.
“I wanted to allow myself the pleasure of this joke.”
Perfect.

I was talking about athletes.
And I don't think you understand the athlete's mentality. Because you've never been one. Right?
And slow your roll with the 'fuck off' stuff tiger, huh? Thanks.

The USDA had a “reason to believe” the states were granting benefits to people in the country illegally, though it did not provide evidence or explain why it was targeting those states and not others."
Damn.
And it's around taking care of children.
They have no basement.

They're creating enemies and telling agents, "We've got you."
January 10, 2026 at 2:23 AM
This is exactly what I was hoping for an, to an extent, expected. Even if it was just a financial decision.
January 10, 2026 at 12:52 AM
Well, as one who played professional sports for a bit I'd come close to betting the house that there isn't one athlete DM'ing actors hoping that's mentioned if it's around anything related to orientation. It doesn't work like that.

I sure hope their thinking wasn't driven by fear, which I imagine is a possibility, or an attempt to pull a "new" audience. Because that ain't gonna' happen.
January 10, 2026 at 12:44 AM
OK. And even with that Reid is relaying messages to someone they weren't intended for. That's not an integrity move. Sorry. I'm just not on board.
January 9, 2026 at 11:02 PM
Maybe. But I could write Reid and say the same thing. And I can't imagine too many closeted pro jocks using their real names in a note like that. As in none.
It was still a stupid thing to say. Shouldn't even be on the table for conversation. For a few reasons.

I like Smith's line. "I’m glad I had an OG that realized teaching me to blow money is STUPID! It does not prove you belong on a team."
Agree.
January 9, 2026 at 10:44 PM
I missed Utah banning the book Wicked.
Uh..based on the title?
January 9, 2026 at 10:35 PM
Surprised you left out that he's married to a Filipina immigrant.
January 9, 2026 at 10:31 PM
You're right. And it's all about the long term. Tells me that the nations that voted for this don't have confidence that the U.S. will be able overcome this moment in time. Assuming they think it will get worse.
January 9, 2026 at 10:28 PM
I'm sure Madison hasn't been up in winter, especially on Devil's Backbone, or that sub-header would have been different. But the article was solid. Serious mountaineers have succumbed there. But that's far from typical. Most every year it's the same thing. With the same types of disrespectful people
January 9, 2026 at 10:26 PM
"Fuckin' bitch."
Damn.
January 9, 2026 at 10:16 PM
Perfect response.
Unreal.
January 9, 2026 at 10:11 PM
You're right. And they had valid reasons. But there's short-term and there's long-term. This was a long play. In response to the Trump administration. Smart.
January 9, 2026 at 10:10 PM
I'm really glad to see other countries stepping up, on their own behalf, to take advantage of what this administration has created.
January 9, 2026 at 10:02 PM
OK.
A reminder?
Human beings died.
January 9, 2026 at 10:00 PM
My partner is Flipina and I wish those people would catch a freaking break. It's just so much "bad" they have to deal with.
January 9, 2026 at 9:59 PM
But he has to be charged and convicted first, right?
January 9, 2026 at 9:57 PM
Those are athletes. They have NOTHING to do with politics. I've worked closely with Olympic athletes. Many of them Russian. Trust me on that one.
January 9, 2026 at 9:53 PM
Read the story.
January 9, 2026 at 9:52 PM
always feel bad for the athletes who get caught up in how their countries roll. They just want to compete.
January 9, 2026 at 9:49 PM
Huskies are DIFFERENT. :)
