It would be nice if they could do it for you. My mom has to do something similar. My dad did it for her the first two times (and he haaaaates needles), then she learned and now finds it "easy" (as easy as those things get, I guess). She said the trepidation was the worst part. Like many things.

This is like the singular tragedy of my life. It's always on days when I'm really tired and going to bed far too late...only to walk in on a naked bed and DESPAIR.
