This is why I check facebutt memories every day! This photograph was lost to the house fire until today. Navy Band New Orleans was playing the annual Kentucky Colonel BBQ and I wanted to get a photo with this guy and his amazing mustache.

I never put milk in mashed tatties. I use butter, yoghurt and a wee bit of cream cheese. Rich and decadent, more like a jacket potato. Garnish with chopped cybies and voila!

The onliest way I could ever get my wife to eat brussels sprouts is to cut them in half, set aside, fry up some bacon, then set aside, and put the sprouts in the bacon grease and brown them. When done, crumble the bacon on top and serve. AWESOME!

I have a strange relationship with cabbage; I don't care for it in and of itself, but put it in colcannon, or with some bacon and it shines. Stuffed cabbage works a treat, too.
