I live in a small town in WI about 30 minutes from St. Paul. I saw masked men apprehending a man today. Our Indian and Thai restaurants are also temporarily closed out of fear. This is spreading.

I know it's owned by a right wing oligarch, but the @startribune.com is doing amazing work. A subscription to them goes a long way. I did it and do not regret the decision.

And that's what it was 10 years ago. But then White Sox coverage dropped, ads came, click bait headlines, etc. I want to love this platform, but it's just become so "corporate America" that it's a challenge to hand over my money.

Dammit Scott. You're making me want to renew. Your content has always been amazing, but the direction the Athletic took after NYT has led me to reconsider my subscription. The reason I hopped on 10 years ago was for local content. I remember the days of ESPN Chicago, and that's what I was hoping for
