How doth the busy Bee
An invasive species brought to North America as a food crop. It is the only day-lilie that IS edible and is also used medicinally. Naturalized is not how I’d describe it. It pushes out native species and overtakes. Where I live, we call them ditch lilies. Garbage plants really. A ecological problem.

#LoMoth or #Peacock moth caterpillar and the lover of Zeus. This guy has clear boundaries as painful venom is released when touched. Picking them up with a stick is the preferred method.

I would do an alkaline test of the soil. Salt water sea air can affect its growth and you may need to amend it. Depends on the cultivar you have but it’s where I would start.

Peaches are tough in 5a/5b but if you can find a decent location that has a warmer microclimate, is protected from colder winds… you might be able to plant it in the ground. Their roots grow deep and will require more sun.
