I mostly play indie games, eroge, and read edgy yuri manga.
Obsessively fond of the MeiKia pairing from HI3rd/GGZ and Cagliostro from Granblue Fantasty.

For women the closest would probably be these two.
And the protagonist thinks the first is ugly.

That series neither has good non-con writing or good RPG mechanics.
The smut is Dick and Jane-tier, and RQ's Charisma system + Limited Moves is one of the worst things I've experienced in a JRPG since Dragon Song's everything.

No seriously.
No seriously.
An interesting RPG.
Dull combat and a lack of dungeon music hold it down, but the really neat character gimmicks and really nice spritework and keep it as worth a playthrough.
No other games would do what Breath of Fire does, both for good and for ill.

It's was surprisingly solid, but I think I was in a position to like this more than most, with not liking real time with pause, thinking Bioware's evil routes aren't very good, and haven't gotten invested in any previous titles.
Fun exploration, fun gameplay, okay story.

A fun little metroidvania, but honestly it's nothing more than that.

After 10 million years I finally beat this game.
Some amazing pixel art, but the gameplay is exhausting, especially all the reinforcements.
I think Bandai and the fandom have done Calvina dirty too, Al-Van fucking sucks. Plus we need more mecha yuri.
Also Great Zeorymer.

Well...
Well...
Fun little puzzle/platformer/rpg game. There really isn't quite anything like it.
Despite being a game that really wants you to 100% it to progress I feel like I missed a few things? I didn't use the waterways and didn't explore the clouds outside the castle.

Quite good. I do have to complain some puzzles require you to do things with objects that don't behave that way anywhere else in the game.
The exploration was really fun, and the setting was charming.

Honestly really really disappointing as a fan of both series, it focused way too much on the Phantom Troupe who I despise, and didn't utilize the characters it had, and didn't have Bisky or any Chimera Ant arc characters.
