The path is almost exactly 50m long with a 12.5m rise. That makes 120 steps 400mm deep with a 100mm rise inevitable.

Once the first 12 and the landing are done i'll give it a break, as i need these new steps once the cabin is built over the old.
However it works out to approximately 120 steps with a 100mm rise to get from the street to the main flat.

I just cut roots away where they were an issue, and removed enough dirt to get the top out below ground level with a baby chainsaw.
