In my recipe app I now generate embeddings for all recipes and ingredients so I can do stuff like recommend similar recipes with a vector search

Would have never been able to do this without ai (or at least it would have taken me a few days/weeks

Got this done in around 30m

You know it's _almost_ as if this is a pointless exercise

@devongovett.me `@react-aria/optimize-locales-plugin` is unlicensed and has no link to the repo

I know we hate AI but its pretty cool that I could generate this for a random image-less recipe (and also add the functionality to my app in like 1-2 prompts)

You: disgusted by the use of llms to make a grocery app

Me: Builds out my dream pantry + grocery + recipe + macro app

Damn the anti ai takes really ratcheting up a notch

Wonder if they know how much of the software is also generated. I don’t see anyone up in arms about all the programming jobs

Been building my shadcn registry (but based on react-aria and stylex) and this-morning's component was Footer

It both support all of these things and none of these things :D

It's similar but a few differences

1. I want the header to stick just out of the viewport
2. It appears only when I scroll up
3. it disappears when I scroll down

Create this with AI, I dare you 🙃

Specifically

1. The navbar scrolls with the page as a normal element
2. When the user scrolls back up animate the navbar back in
3. When the user reaches the top of the page the navbar is no longer sticky and once again behaves as a normal element
4. Little reflow

Looking for a maintainer. Good opportunity if you want to manage a library with a lot of users

cc @reinhold.is I know storybook has its own version of this. Maybe they could be merged and managed in tandem?
