Starred review on Bookpage for THE WORKS OF VERMIN:

"A mystery that only improves upon rereading... Equal parts disturbing and moving, The Works of Vermin takes both Ennes’ world building and craft to the next level."

Equal parts disturbing and moving, The Works of Vermin explores a fantasy city infested by magical pests—including an enormous, poisonous centipede.

Regrettably, no time! I have one week of vacation to use for my tour and I've got an average of >1 event per day lmao.

(I do feel like some of these lists are wonderfully specific: "Top twenty most-anticipated October sci-fi books by queer Canadian authors that overabundantly feature opera and insects")

Progressive/liberal white people who are still silent, who are still 'supporters' of a genocidal rogue state, who are still handing the nazis the very definition of antisemitism to weaponise as they scrabble to protect the comforts of empire, should look at Thunberg's courage and shrivel in shame.

Human rights defender Greta Thunberg: "I am not scared of Israel, I am scared of a world that has seemingly lost all sense of humanity. What we are doing here is trying to show there is some humanity left. That there are still people willing to step up when all other means fail." #3E

Palestinian families like Baraa's are being violently displaced & starved to death in Israel's genocide. Baraa already lost one daughter to the genocide, please help her keep her daughter Masa, who's severely ill from malnutrition, by sharing & donating. Bsky deletes their accounts hourly:
