Cozy and beautifully animated. I never read Anne of Green Gables, so that may skew my perspective, but I greatly prefer Anne with an E. Her childhood in Green Gables is so endearing but so short in the anime: the story post-college pales. Unsure how to rate but a lovely watch 🌸

I’m notoriously a slow reader but I flew through this. I agree with a lot of other people’s reviews in that the book was maybe trying to do too much, but that doesn’t take away from some of the abs blood chilling scenes (the neighbor’s house, the basement stair shadow…)

Exceeded all my expectations….felt different enough from IT to feel fresh, but with plenty of tie-in’s/Easter eggs to make the whole thing
come together. Also incredibly gross, which I think is lowkey necessary for a series like this.
Halloran esp was a standout for me
