I don't know about the Friern Rd one but I think the Overhill one was on the site of either Dawson's Heights or the small block next door. Often these very large houses around here could not be let after the war.

This was towards the Lordship Lane end of Friern Rd but is no longer there. The home moved to Baroda House in Overhill Rd, also demolished but we have an image of it 👇 #Dulwich #LocalHistory
