Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Centre Town, Old Port Royale (1988-2017)

One of my favorite parts of the resort was Centre Town as it put you right in the middle of a Caribbean village as you browsed local shops for a meal any time of the day, and always under a blue sky.

The Land Pavilion interior space (1993-2005)⠀

For myself, this is The Land Pavilion that I know and love. Vibrant colors, working hot air balloons, and the chlorine fountain with the umbrella seating. ⠀

I can still smell the chlorine from the fountain.

Construction photo of Splash Mountain at Walt Disney World while they were carving the rock work.

What I like about this photograph is that you get a real sense of scale and forced perspective used on the mountain with the construction workers standing right on top!
