Captain James Cook, was tragically fortunate to have his life and career cut down, aged just 50. He had already descended into sad alcoholism and brutality. He has enjoyed 250 years of heroism but is now being critically reassessed for his role in colonialism. #history

The Cloth of St Gereon is the oldest known European tapestry still existing, dating to the early 11th century. Parts of it exist in a number of museums. The tapestry formerly hung in the choir of St Gereon's Church, Cologne.
