No that‘s not an ancient Greek counting water sources, that‘s me, remembering I have a Bluesky account.

The newest Episode of the #Podcast is in the works and should be up and running very very soon.

As they say, a baby never disrupts anyone‘s life and everyone just keeps on going about their daily business as before. That being said, I have to postpone this week‘s episode to next Sunday because whoever made that statement never had children. #podcast #chroniclesofancientgreece #history

Ancient Greek baby registration: Forget paperwork—dad’s spin around the hearth was the official stamp of approval. Talk about a whirling welcome to the family! #Amphidromia #GreekBabies #BabyChronicles

Spring in Ancient Greece meant Persephone’s annual return—giving #Demeter every reason to celebrate with #olive groves in bloom and festivals that put modern #brunches to shame. Who knew a myth could be so chic? #AncientGreece #Spring

The #AncientGreeks dealt with illnesses and flu-like symptoms by using #herbs, #rest, bloodletting, and praying to the #God of healing, #Asclepius. I have tried three (guess which one I left out) but no luck. Episode 5.2. will unfortunately have to be delayed a bit, hopefully only a couple of days!

Mycenaean #women might not have held the scepter, but they sure ran the backstage—wielding influence like a well-polished bronze blade. Who says power needs a megaphone? #SubtleStrength #AncientGreece

The #Minoans built multi-story palaces with plumbing over 3,500 years ago. Meanwhile, medieval #Europe thought bathing was a health hazard. #Progress isn’t always linear. #TuesdayMotivation

Unlike basically everything the #Minoans did, listening to the latest Episode of #ChroniclesofAncientGreece neither requires navigating a confusing labyrinth nor fighting a half-man, half-bull mythical creature. To me that's a plus.
