It is entirely possible to suggest a different order for the future, I have no false impression that we sit at the end of history, however to deny the very obvious benefits of the last 100 years is simply disingenuous.

The neo liberal order you complain about has driven the greatest uplift in human conditions in history at an absurd pace...

There's plenty of critiques to levy, but "poverty worsening" is simply false on a population level, and the social collapse you almost gleefully pontificate on is seen nowhere

If you're expecting a conservative party leader to lead the charge against the neoliberal order I really don't know what to tell you...

This policy is a good one, there's plenty more we ought to implement with regards to tax reform, abolishment of National Insurance, removal of triple lock etc...

Unironically removing stamp duty and introducing a new housing tax is a fantastic policy suggestion...

It stabilises government income much more, encourages people to move house, especially eases up downsizing for older asset rich pensioners.

This has long been argued for by policy wonks.

If they do tour France I think a Barbarians squad which functions as “Best of the World” could be fun as a first game

I'm still opposed in principle to a Lions tour, but at least France would offer a unique women's experience, and more local chance for people to follow the team.

A huge part of the appeal is how cheap the women's game is, a European Lions tour could mirror that approach.

Another issue is that with the nascent stage of women's rugby, I don't think sending a big tour down under without an established travelling fanbase is the best idea...

6 of the top 7 attended women's games are in England (maybe more), I don't think you get these numbers down in NZ or Canada.

I would still contend in stadiums the throughput ability of urinals means there's a benefit to have a "urinal" queue, and a "cubicle" queue
